Leaf Rapids Winter Carnival - 3rd weekend in March

The Leaf Rapids Winter Carnival celebrates the unique heritage and culture of the north.
It includes aspects of trapping, hunting, fishing, winter travel, outdoor camp cooking, traditional dress, dancing, crafts and outdoor recreation.  It touches all aspects of Leaf Rapids historical past.  In addition to these traditional events; bingo and a children's carnival are also held.
